Our tank is 13.2? I get the light and no dashes and I fill up with 11 gallons.
If I fill my car just after the low fuel light goes on, i usually get just over 10 gallons in there. That means that, for me, when that light comes on, at ~28 mpg, I could go approximately another 84 miles before running dry. But I don't do mpg calculations based on that.

You need to do some calculations with real numbers and not go by what you think or feel. Then you will know what kind of mpgs you are actually getting.

I've filled my car up with one bar left and the gas light on and it takes 10.5-10.6 gallons at that point.

K24Z7 here and I usually get about 24-26 mpg and that's being generous with the right foot. Pretty even split of highway and city driving too. Never really in spot in go traffic either. Honestly 28mpg sounds like more highway driving based off my experience. Even driving in the most perfect way I only achieve 24mpg all city.

I drive in traffic almost every day. I get about 22-25 depending on traffic and my driving. When I'm on a stay-cation from work and drive in no traffic, I can get 30+ easily.
