Will be at zMax Dragway tomorrow night for a charity event. Have never run my car at a dragway/strip before. Any suggestions on launch, shifting etc.? Don't want to totally embarrass myself

Launch just a bit lower than 3,000 if you are running the all-season tires on your car. Try to keep wheel spin at a minimum by feathering the gas during launch. 6,800 rpm is a good target for shifting as you lose your pull above that range anyways with stock trim.

Yes, all season tires. So is it a clutch dump and feather, or a slow grab and feather? Running an sri too, so the rpm's a little bit quicker....or so it seems.
