Flashpro Reflash tune? AFM or MAP based?

Just got my flashpro and uploaded the Reflash tune. Car feel really good pulls alot harder up top. Was just wondering if this tune was a MAP based tune, or if its AFM like stock. From what I understand (and correct me if im wrong) MAP based tunes use the Map sensor to adjust fuel and the AFM is then only used for intake air temp, however an AFM based tune uses the MAF censor to adjust fuel and measure intake air temp. Hondata site says:
What if you have modifications? This program was not tuned specifically for an intake. Any correctly designed intake or exhaust modification should work well with this reflash.

I guess the reason I am asking is because when I ran my short ram intake with the stock ecu it ran much worse than completely stock. I haven't put it back on to try it yet with the reflash tune yet. I am just wondering if the way my mass air flow sensor sits in the short ram intake I made would fall under the category of "incorrectly designed" intake because it doesn't sit as deep in the piping. And what effect would this have on my air fuel ratios? Or is Reflash tune MAP based and the MAF sensor makes no difference for fuel because its only measuring the air temp and not flow?

Hey man I know this is years later but by any chance did you run your short ram intake with the reflash? How did it feel?... Oh and how noticable was the reflash at first, were you completely stock when you first did the reflash?

I’m stock with just a reflash tune and it feels a lot smoother throughout the entire rpm range and pulls harder.
I’m planning to buy a k&n Sri and full 3” full race exhaust. I was going to do it all at the same time so I can do the Sri, cat delete, catback calibration but if the Sri works with the reflash cal I might just do that first.

I have an Invidia N1 catback exhaust and a 3 inch DC Sports SRI. If you get an intake… best one is the acuity Cold air intake… if you’re doing SRI get something 3.5 inch and get a tune.172 whp with reflash only… 189whp after tune. Hit up Yoshtuned on IG… he does great work. He charged me $250 for the full tune and my car drives perfectly and pulls harder and smoother and no more rev hang either. I’m currently trying to get either a Ktuned 3.5 inch SRI or the Injen Cold air intake because i think with a better intake I can gain a bit more torque... also Yoshtune offers free retunes for new parts.

I eventually want to go fbo, I just don’t want to do a cai mod right now in case I want to return it back to stock, it’s just a lot more complicated then doing an sri mod. I am looking at the acuity cai when I do the IM, but that might be a year or two down the road.
I’ll look into a 3.5” sri for now. Will probably do at least the intake and full exhaust before getting an e-tune. I’ll give Yosh a try, thanks! With a dp you would probably hit 200whp, I think.

Just remember that with a 3.5 inch intake you absolutely need a tune to run right… your car will lose power if you don’t have a tune. 3 inch is ok to run without tune but you won’t make any power gains really… just cool intake noises. Yea I want to get a Ktuned 3.5 inch intake and a full race catted downpipe… I think i can hit like 205 WHP with those two mods.
how long did it take for yosh tune to tune the car , I’ve been waiting for it for a day now

Where did you hit him up from? He replies in a couple hours through instagram and sends the tunes via emails. He sent me 3 revised tunes in a day once where I would data log and send it to him right away. I got a Ktuned 3.5” SRI intake and hit him up a couple months ago… made 3 more wheel HP and 17 more wheel torque!

He sent me the base map in the middle of the day yesterday , a hour later I sent him what he wanted and I’m still waiting on the revised tune
