Greetings all. I just ordered a 2012 Si coupe/Navi today. I get the feeling that at 38 I am on the older side of the average Si owner, but I wanted something fun to drive, practical, good on gas, and with Honda reliability. We already own a Crosstour and that was our first Honda. We love that car for our family mobile. It replaced our Jeep Liberty. I have owned Camaros, Mazda 6s, Mazda RX8, Jeeps, SUVs, etc... but I'm really looking forward to this car for pure driving fun. I am long past the poser days of having to have the fastest car that I can afford. I wanted a car that had the whole package that will still be going strong 10 years from now so that's why I chose the Civic. I miss having a toy to play with and I'm looking forward to some aftermarket wheels, a performance suspension, electronic gizmos, and mabye even a little more power, but nothing crazy. I just hope to put a smile on my face every time I take it out for a spin.

I hope you enjoy your new Si when it arrives. I enjoy mine that's for sure. And the Si before that, and the Si before that. There is a reason why I have put over a half a million miles on these cars they are perfect for my needs.

38 years old? I got ten years on you and I am not the oldest member on this forum driving an Si. LOL Welcome to the site.

Congratulations! There is no doubt in my mind that the Si will deliver an everlasting smile. I just picked up one myself a few weeks ago and I can't begin to tell you how much I truly enjoy driving it. Although I do slightly miss my BMW M3, I will not miss the maintenance coasts and poor gas mileage I got with it. This Si suits my needs just as well, if not better and delivers enough power to make me happy. This is my first Si and I'm certain that this one will not be my last!
