Seems like a vibration issue because of what you're saying about the AC, the vibration is causing something to rattle. If I turn off the ac noise goes away too...the noise is from transmission area, more like inside the transmission.
The noise is on the driver side of the engine which is kind of far away from ac/belt/pulley stuff. I am thinking it might be the pressure plate finger is not evenly flat which is dragging the TO bearing or it's doing this grab and release thing.Could it be a belt tensioner and not clutch related at all? Why not take it in and ask them to check it out? I doubt it is your clutch with only 400 miles on your car. Weirder things have happened but that would be an odd occurrence for sure this early.
How is yours going? can you make a video of the noise from your car?Lets get this thread going. I have a new 2013. 30 miles on the odo, same sound, but I find no relationship to the AC. If you push in the clutch, the sound goes away. New car break-in issue???

FWIW, you probably should let another dealer service dept look at it . . . or get Honda America involved right now and take it back to same dealer. It's got 400 miles on it! Sounds like a heat shield to me though.I really don't want service department to open up everything on the brand new car as they usually do more damage then fixing the problem. Below is a link of the sound. Thanks for the help in advance.
