My cv axle wont come out. The boots were ripped both side I tried pulling and it came off leaving the end of axle stuck to transmission. I for the life of cannot get it loose . Use pry bar used hammer and screwdriver. Not aure what else to try. Thanks for any help

on the pass side there’s a carrier bearing and so you don’t need to take it out of the trans. When I did it at my friends house, we used a punch on the cup and punched it out.

It’s the same thing. There’s a cup and a case to the right of the carrier bearing put a flat head or pry bar on it and just hammer it out.
I got a chiesel and a small sledge and beat it at the cup, close tp the transmission. You probably got the retainer clip jammed. Your best bet if the chiesel doesn't work is a slide hammer with the vise grip attachment. Rotate and pull, hooefully it dislodges you will probably need a replacement is your new axles don't come with them. Harbor freight (9way) or other parts store.
You need a pry bar head attachment for a ratchet
