im already planning for my mods to the car even before i get it. but since im probably going to be putting nitrous on it im thinking of changing the headers at the same time. is it worth that extra money to get some nice 4-2-1 headers?

BIG difference.

I had custom made headers, Type 1 Racing downpipe and spoon exhaust on my 2000 Civic SiR (Si is USA), and it was a whole different world. If your doing headers, you might want to spoil yourself and get a downpipe and full exhaust.

Guess it just depends on where you are located, for me living in CA, i do not believe that a car with full exhaust all the way from the heads will pass smog here. i know it doesnt have to be smogged for the 1st 5 years but it would be a pain after that

LSD equipped?

Man o man...I really want to like this car. Initially I liked the outlook of it. Then I heard there may be an integrated header. I'm hoping it at least has an LSD. So why the pots...I'm hoping someone has heard some more rumor (I'm inpatient :wigglesmiley: )

I think I can get over the integrated header...if it's modifable in the fact of maybe a turbo? I'm not familiar with the integrated header other than the fact I heard I race heard would be pointless. Soooooo...what are everyone's view point in modifying it if it does have an integrated header. I'm looking for some experienced individuals on input on this. I figure...if it's modifable in good hp numbers with the integrated header, I could always order a quafe lsd and throw it in there (I've done it on an EP3...had FA5 before my install on an EP3 .: K-Series News & Information :. - Installation of an LSD and new clutch in an EP3 transmission).

So any experience input on this anyone?

Hey, now there is a former EPHatch member I see here...

I really hope it comes with LSD...if not then I'd probably get the 2011 Honda Civic SI Sedan.

BTW what happen to your FA5? Are you thinking about upgrading your FA5 to the new 2012?

I sold my FA5 when I moved to Japan. I'm set to come back to the states this year around August...maybe going to Hawaii...if not there, then to San Antonio. I've been in Japan for about 3 years now.

If the new Si has good specs, I just might get it. If I don't like it, then I'll go for a used 09+ FA5

Not sure about the integrated intake header but the 2012 Si will come equipped with limited slip differential.

Really? Any references? Btw there was an earlier post in the tranny section about "torque vectoring" a computerized LSD sort, really interesting, but don't really know how fast Honda is about incorporating new technology into there cars lol

I'll be fine with their usual LSD...better than none!
I agree...so let's hope it really comes with it. This is one of the main key factors of why I'm choosing the 2012
