For appearance: I was thinking of lowering maybe 1"-1.5", gunmetal grey Enkei wheels (17"-18") maybe 8" wide to give it some stance, after market muffler (SKunk2 or MagnaFlow) with bolt on exhaust tip that comes with the Si. I was also thinking of putting on the Si spoiler because the mechanic at my dealership said he could do it, but after looking at pappiflyys civic ( http://ilovemyhonda.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/996788_584306778267024_2021959350_n.jpg ), I think Im gonna leave it clean with no spoilers at all.

For performance: I'm gonna keep stock engine cause I dont have a bunch of money to burn because I'm still a student working part time. I was thinking maybe a CAI and wider exhaust to let that 1.8 breathe.

How does this plan sound? Any recommendations for brand names for the parts I listed?

Heres what it looks like: http://images.gtcarlot.com/pictures/81483178.jpg and http://vehicleimages.s3.amazonaws.com/bf/ae/13/dc-13bb-4339-a3d7-c76307738afb/image-1.jpg

Cheers!

CAI is ricer voodoo. You'd do better with an improved drop-in filter from what I gather from other owners. Many of us Si owners are selling stock exhausts, so be on the lookout, that's a cheap way to upgrade. I also happen to like my Si wheels, and think they'd look just as good on a regular Civic.

I'd spend some time doing research throughout the web site. Many civic owners have already been through the whole mod process and you can get some ideas from there experiences. Enjoy the car.

Welcome to the forum. I personally wouldn't even bother modding the R18, if you wanted something sporty and fast you should've gotten the Si.
