The upcoming Honda Civic hatchback has been spied testing on public roads.

In just a few days, Honda will roll out a Civic hatchback concept at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, but this prototype is the actual production car.

The hatchback looks a little more aggressive and sporty than the other versions of the Civic and includes a twin exhaust nestled in the center of bumper. Under the hood, a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder making around 200 horsepower and a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine should be the options, just like the rest of the Civic lineup.

A turbocharged 2.0-liter engine is also likely to join the lineup once the high-performance Type R model is revealed.

The Civic hatchback will launch in early 2017 in Europe after which it will be sent to the U.S. The hatchback will be built at Honda’s Swindon U.K. plant.

This looks great, I like the dual exhaust centered in the back. They are really focusing on attracting all drivers to this generation.
