Hey everyone!

Figured I'd start a build thread. Build is a slow work in progress, mainly because I'm researching as I purchase items, so here we go!

When I picked up the car from the dealership. 2013 DBP FB6. Fell in love with it right away. Her name is Claire.

First mods for the car, though minor: Red H Steering wheel badge and Red H mugen key cover.

First road trip to Orlando, where I installed HID lowbeam at 5000k and fog lights at 3000k

Second mod, K&N short ram intake. I know it doesn't add power but it sounds cool.

Most recent mod, JDM Red H Badges.

And some random photos taken today

How she sits at the moment. I have some H&R springs coming in tomorrow, but still debating whether I should get some shocks for it before installing. Maybe some truharts. Still looking to get a Bayson R lip, some visors, either OEM or Mugen if I want mad JDM points, and that should be it for the exterior until I get wheels. Still debating on what wheels to get. Haven't found a set that really grabbed my attention, except for the HFP 18" wheels but not sure how I feel about buying OEM wheels at that price when I could get something else.

As for power mods, really debating getting flash pro and full bolt on's. Still wondering if cams will ever be made for this car. Might settle for an axleback just for sound, but who knows. Would like to get a downpipe and exhaust, or maybe just downpipe and axleback.

That's all I got for now.

Update on my progress.

I have removed the K&N short ram intake and went back to the stock one. After installing the stock one back on and driving it for a bit, it felt overall better. I noticed some performance loss after a while with the K&N, but wasn't sure about it and thought it was in my head, til i reinstalled the stock airbox. In the end, sold the K&N intake.

Well, I came across a great deal on a flashpro locally that I really couldn't pass up.
IMAG0122

Purchased it, flashed the hondata reflash on it and ran it for about a day. Ran nicely, the only noticeable difference was the rev hang delete and quicker acceleration. Overall and nice feeling. Now, considering the price I found it at, I had a lot of thinking to do. Ideally, I wanted to go full bolt on's with RBC swap. But, after thinking about it for a bit, I decided that it's not for me. I remember when I had my EJ1 coupe with an LS/VTEC swap, and as much fun as it was at the time, I believe that at this day and age, I wouldn't enjoy hearing an exhaust all the damn time. That plus I just don't feel that bolt on's would give the kind of power i'm looking for at the price they sell for, and I know for damn sure I'm not going to go boost. I'm an all motor kinda guy when it comes to Honda's. So that being said, I sold the flashpro the next day.

So after making that decision, I am just going to focus on the all show and no go aspect for now. To me, the car is fun enough to drive the way it comes. So I went ahead and purchased a dash panel with push start button from a 2014-2015 Si. Will be installing when I have free time available.

Well quick update, did a little photoshoot while visiting Orlando a couple months ago.

Aside from that, got a rear window visor from HIC, as well as the side window visors and a Mugen shift knob

Also have a Bayson R lip waiting to install. Trying to decide whether to match paint it or keeping it black. Have an idea of what wheels i'm looking to get, but probably won't be til next year.

is the lettering on the shift knob screen printed on? wondering if it will rub off over time. have a link to where u got it?
Sorry haven't been keeping up with this forum. Prob a bit late now, but I believe it was screen printed on. I bought it off someone from another forum and sold it a couple years ago.

As for my build, here are some updates.

I installed OEM UAE Hybrid Headlights and 10th Gen Honda Access Yellow LED Foglights

headlight and foglights

I have changed wheels to Kansei KNP in 17x9 +35, upgraded the suspension to Fortune Auto 500 Series coilovers

And in the rear, a Caruse Gurney Flap and Black housing Angel Eyes LED Taillights

Rear angle

Inside I wrapped my steering wheel with a leather wrap from east detailing and bought a 27Won shift knob to match. I also got the UAE hazzard button, upgraded my head unit to a 14-15 head unit, and am working on installing an s2000 push start button with a 14-15 dash piece. Also added LED strips under the dash, and got an Accord Sport moonroof switch with the red ambient lighting.

Lighting enhanced to show red ambient lighting from moonroof switch

UAE Hazzard button

S2000 push start button with 14-15 dash piece

Really liking this car a lot. As for future mods, looking to get side skirts, wrap my roof black, possibly a carbon hood, who knows. We'll see. So far, I'm happy with where it's at right now. As for performance parts, so far only have an FKX Racing test pipe v2 and an Invidia Q300 exhaust. Depending how things go, might stay that way, or might go supercharger. We'll see how the rest of the year goes.
