Launch Limiter: FlashPro

I just got FlashPro over a week ago, made some adjustments to the 'reflash basemap' and my car feels great. Eventually going to get a few performance parts & a pro tune.

Anyways, my problem is that I'm trying to adjust the Launch Limiter, but for some reason it won’t take effect.

I have the Launch RPM set to 3500, yet all the tutorials I’ve found have a Launch recover RPM setting as where I have a MPH setting in FlashPro Manager. I came across a video of a guy who had the same setting options (MPH) as I did but he didn’t go over how/what to set for the MPH setting, though I did see his was set to 3 MPH.

So what I did was use the same settings he had but I still can rev passed 3500 during launch.

Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The reason you aren't seeing a recover RPM option is because the launch control is adjustable. This Flashpro Help page covers it.

As for why it isn't working, it's hard to say without seeing what you've tried. I'd look over that page first and make sure your settings are good to go. Also check your Flashpro Manager version and make sure it's up to date.

If you are following proper procedure, then likely it's the software being buggy or a corrupt map. I know other people have had this issue on occasion. You can always contact Hondata as well.

Thanks for the link. The FlashPro Manager is definitely up-to-date. But I'll check on everything else.

I didn't change too many settings so it won't be hard to start fresh (new map) and see if that helps.

I appreciate the help.
Bumping the thread. So these are the parameters I've changed.

Overrun fuel cut delay: From 20ms to 10ms

Rev limiter: 6500 - 6490 (can't remember stock values, but they are up in the mid 700's)

Here's my issue!!

I got it to work now.

I uploaded another tune, setting the launch limiter to 3600 this time and still nothing. So I used the cruise control buttons to check what the setting was and it was set at 5000 rpm, weird seeing as how I set it to 3600. I then just adjusted it from the cruise control buttons down to 3500 and voila, it worked.
Glad it worked out!
