Just got some Spec D lights for my 2012 Si and I’m looking to replace the halogens with LED bulbs. Has anyone had any success with this? I think they’re H1 bulbs. I’m worried about the fitment with the dust caps. Thanks!
The SPEC D projector lights come with H1 housing for both low and high beam, so you will need H1 LED bulbs. As far as the dust cap concern, there are universal dust caps on Amazon that are designed for aftermarket LED bulbs, just make sure to check the measurements; these SPEC D headlights should be compatible with 2.76in / 70mm (diameter) dust caps.
So I bought like $100 led bulbs for the spec d lights but I got 9006 which is the stock headlight low beam size, oh well so I looked at the website and the spec d ones have H1 low beams now. So I got some H1s and those also don’t fit and now I’m mad confused
