I am going to try to document this build the best I can. Here's a picture of the day I purchased it.
The car was purchased in the Carolinas, which is conveniently close to MercRacing headquarters. I left my car with them to do all mods needed to supercharge the car.

I’ve been looking at this kit. Do you have to get rid of your intake and run a short ram from the unit?
No, you don't. I had the stock intake on there on my initial install.

Check out my YouTube channel and go to one of my overview videos. You can clearly see the stock intake box still installed.
