they will eventually break in and wont be as bad im running 70a all around at 430 to the wheel and wish I had gone stiffer
Why do you wish you had gone stiffer?they will eventually break in and wont be as bad im running 70a all around at 430 to the wheel and wish I had gone stiffer
That sounds good to me I still wanna daily it but still tryna keep it a little comfortable on the rideI'm not sure if they break in or you just get used to it, but I'm running the hasport 70a rmm and I don't think its bad at all. Its more noticeable than stock of course but its not like teeth chattering. I think if you went 70a all around like boosted_fg4 said above you'd be straight, if you're gonna keep building for more HP maybe just 88a for rear and 70a for the rest.
People just shit on Innovative, haven't seen anybody post about Boomba, and everyone will pick Hasports over all. I'm running with Innovative and haven't had any issues. The only issue I've seen was one post of a cracked bracket, and who knows how that happened. Only reason I didn't go with Hasport was price and having to grind off material from the trans mount for the Acuity battery relocation mount to fit, I didn't have anything to grind stuff off with and didn't want to wait to have it done. Are Hasports the preferred mounts for our cars versus Innovative or Boomba?? < I know those are cheap
Im looking to upgrade mine simply because the stock mounts are TOAST - I have an incredible amount of ‘lurch’ and movement while changing gears when a/c is on and also just normally when I decelerate.. Car has an intake on it now and I plan to just do exhaust and Hondata so I don’t need anything crazy stiff - What’s everyone’s recommendation?
May POSSIBLY do a DP later on down the road
Yea I am going to avoid that as well, I don’t want to have to do a modification to add a modification lol.People just shit on Innovative, haven't seen anybody post about Boomba, and everyone will pick Hasports over all. I would like to tell you what the stiffness is, but the invoice doesn't say. Their site says the standard insert is 75A, rated for 400HP (damn, I'm gonna need to upgrade later, lol). It was slightly more noticeable coming from the 2 out 3 Hasport mounts I had on before. Straight bolt on, IF they give you all the hardware needed, they didn't for me, messaged them about it, was easier to just piece my own hardware kit. They eventually sent me a bag of random bolts and spacers, and I don't even know where that went, lol. I had to search online for a guide that listed everything needed, if you go that route, I can send it to you.Yea I am going to avoid that as well, I don’t want to have to do a modification to add a modification lol.
So Innovative has been solid for you? Straight forward install? No cutting or grinding? Any advice on bushing stiffness?
Maybe I’ll try to call and or them directly to at least try and ensure I get everything needed - that makes me a bit apprehensive not going to lie but if they’re cheaper and install easier then I’m probably willing to take the chance lol 😂I would like to tell you what the stiffness is, but the invoice doesn't say. Besides the missing hardware and needing to buy a really deep well socket, it's not bad, highly recommend. 3 years, no issues.
Lol, maybe their QA has changed since then, and you'll get what you need to do it in a timely mannerMaybe I’ll try to call and or them directly to at least try and ensure I get everything needed - that makes me a bit apprehensive not going to lie but if they’re cheaper and install easier then I’m probably willing to take the chance lol 😂
