Oh wow. I was going to use etunez over a suggestion on reddit but I know of imw. Why do you recommend imw over etunez if you don't mind me asking?

I won't answer for Allmotor (EDIT: I basically did, sorry!), but according to them and a couple others there have been numerous criticisms on facebook levied against a number of maps the tuners at E-tunez have put out. This was brought up in a previous thread (EDIT: It was this thread) and bears some consideration. I also stated it as "according" due to the fact that I don't have facebook to verify anything about it. I just know that it was stated that the maps involved were for 10th and 9th gens.

I'd personally like to see some of these maps/datalogs out of curiosity and I think it would be good to know whether it's ALL the tuners or just some of the tuners at E-tunez. I think I asked in the other thread for more details, but I don't remember if any were posted.

So if there was information presented, could we get a link? If none was, can someone fill us in with more details? It could help out others who only use this forum for 9th gen info.

The fellow 9th gen owner on reddit I know had used e-tunez for basic upgrades and he was happy with the result so I'm curious as you say if it is the whole company or a few tuners under them.

If I can find my first 4 revision datalogs from etunez I will post them. I saw over 100-150 knock counts each revision from a 15-20min drive even after asking about it.

went with imw and I think I saw 5 overall from 17 revisions. The final product from imw was more linear power band, better mpg, idles amazing and no knock counts.

That's the price and quality difference then. And I'm assuming you are not boosted. I'm not planning to boost either. Just for putting an intake and DP/exhaust system, I wouldn't want to kill my engine.

100 percent spend the extra cash save the wasted cash from etunez, and opt for the priority tune from IMW

You did everything online, didn't have to drive to their garage right?

I have two Sis, I could probably drive the other one as I get updates to the tune, by that way I wouldn't need the priority tune, or should I still do it?

Yep, everything online through email. You data log with Hondata or K-Tuner, which ever you got, email it to whoever, they do revision, email back, load it up to car though tuning device, rinse and repeat until final revision.

Thanks for the info. I remember now you mentioning that knock count in the other thread. As you say, trying to pass that off as normal is laughable. Which tuner was this at E-tunez?

I will say MPG has been the weak point of a few maps I've looked at from them. Though I would say this is often contributed to by having only several revisions before calling it "done." The short turn around from start to finish does have some disadvantages.

I did end up sharing an earlier map's logs, I am curious about all the negatives too (No Facebook for me to verify either).
I've had no issues with E-Tunez aside from what BWill9886 posted on fueling, and my Tuner did bring that up, even suggesting a fuel pressure regulation setup, but also shared BWills sentiment of "If it feels smooth, don't worry about it". I have since replaced my OE Fuel Rail with an Acuity, and the Grams injectors with Deatschwerks injectors.
All of that being said, I've only worked with 1/4 of their team. And honestly I should put a fuel regulation setup in here at some point since I am boosted and running 1000CC injectors...

Also I haven't gotten around to adjusting my throttle yet, I removed the mat and I still don't go above 93% engagement.

I'm due to get some more logging to send in for another revision, so I can share in the next couple of days as well.
