looking at the scuffs on the bumper, it probably came loose after the last impact.
you can reposition it be removing some of the underside plastics.

This thing always shows a higher outside temp when I turn the AC on, only in my sedan, coupe doesn't do it, I need to relocate this thing. Now I know what it looks like LOL🤣

its positioned closest to the road for sub zero temps to indicate when ice conditions may exist.
in the summer its through the roof and inaccurate, thanks to the asphalt heat soak from the sun that radiates upward.
