Hello, everyone.

I just got a brand new red 2014 Honda Civic Si sedan. At first the clutch was grabbing low, now the clutch is grabbing almost all the way out. I would say it grabs between 2"-1". The car has less than 200 miles. Is this normal? Did I burn the clutch out already?

No. This is not normal operation. Take it back to the dealer and have them look at it. I am willing to bet it's a very quick fix.

Mine engages within a couple inches from the top...no more than 3. My clutch is very healthy. Every stock Honda clutch I've driven has been similar.

The day I got mine, it seemed to grab a little higher than it does now. But at the same time I think it's just grabbing harder and you can feel it more. The pedal travel is pretty short, but I am noticing now that I can feel it actually engage and grab much sooner and it sometimes makes noise similar to chatter if I let out too quickly. I don't wanna say it's a problem yet but it's something I noticed regardless. And I've also noticed some crunch in the gearbox when up-shifting Esp. 1-2 and 4-5 but not on the down shift. It's only got 85 miles over 1k so i will keep you all posted. Anybody else having any kind of trans or engine quirks so far?

I have 2015 civic si with 2055 miles and the same thing happens to me I feel like the clutch does not fully engage until my foot is completely off the clutch and when I switch gears typically from first to second it's not so smooth a little jerky and rough and I feel like when i bought my car the clutch was so light and now it feels stiffer then usual some days it's stiff and some days light I'm not sure if it's just my car but it doesn't seem normal to me

My 2015 si coupe catches pretty high as well. I would not say there is a problem with it or maybe you and I or driving it wrong? I might have to stop by the dealer ._.
