I just received my set in the mail the other day, but I gotta wait for some more awesome parts to arrive before I can get them all wired up together. I also picked up an adjustable 3rd brake light flasher to go with these as I opted for the parking / brake light module.
Over the weekend I had the rear bumper off and was very close to installing a universal f1 brake light, but I didn't want to modify the light/bumper too much to get it to look stock-ish. The wiring is ready to go however and I've already tapped in to the two lines necessary.
I'm thinking about the reflector lights now, but my question for you that have it installed is where did you guys route the wiring? I didn't see any holes to route it through, but I suppose I can just drill a new hole if needed. I noticed that the trunk lid seal can be lifted, but it's a bit tight for wiring to route along.
I always thought it would be funny to put underglow on a car and never bothered until a few days ago. I was too young to have a car back when this was actually a popular trend, but why not bring it back... other than the fact it is illegal in a lot of states.
Does anyone still do this?
Quick questions. Is it direct plug and play? I read of few things and havent found any confirmation really. Hybrid tail lights on 2014 civic si. I read about some thing about it being direct plug in but the 3rd brake light doesnt work. Then i read somewhere else its not as easy for the 2014...
In my Civic SI coupe (2012 fg4), factory fog lights are only turned on with night driving lights, it is not possible to turn it on independient.
- Is the same for y'all there in USA/Canada?
- Is it possible to leave or turn them on independently?
