I know that in the evenings there is plenty of (street) parking around Juniper Valley Park in MV Queens, seen a few impromptu meets of a handful of cars there in the past. Decent place to grab a beer and some food around the corner I frequent as well.
Juniper could be cool. Sunday afternoons it would be mobbed though. That doesn't scare me away but it might some others.
Is there an accessible lot at Forest Park? I know nothing about the place and live 3 miles away.
Another possibility would be Williamsburg all the way down on Kent where lots of the new development is. That would be tough on a Sunday because of the Flea Market though. There is usually ample parking and the view is absolutely stunning. Plus.. Brooklyn Brewery is just a few blocks down That might be more of a late night saturday place.

we get a bunch of people to a meeting spot, cruise to a few locations.
