Picked up an innovative oil temp and pressure gauge. Just looking for some info where to install? I saw a video on YouTube about cutting the oil filter housing to fit an oil sandwich adapter. Just looking to see if thats the only option there is.

Prosport makes a Performance Oil Filter Adapter that will do exactly what you're looking for. I run one on mine and have had zero issues with it.
Did you have to modify your oil filter housing?

Sorry for the delay, was at work all day.

I did not need to modify the filter housing. It was damn close, but it fit. You just need to plan your pressure/heat gauges route accordingly.

No worries. Im guessing its this one?

That looks the same, but the wording is a little weird when it calls out non-metric Honda. This is the one I bought that I know works. I wasn't sure on the approved vendor list or link rules here yet. Here's the one I bought
Deffinetly a different part. I see the one i poster is m20x1.5 and the one you posted was m22×1.5
To be clear, the correct part for a 2013 Honda Civic Si is a M20-1.5. If you buy directly from Prosport Gauges, shipping is free. I ordered this, and when it arrives I'll post back here to let you guys know how it fits.

Well, sadly the part does NOT fit, and you do need to take a grinder to the oil filter housing.

Not only does the Prosport oil filter adaptor plate NOT fit with the lip on the oil filter housing, the part itself needed to be ground down a few millimeters. I spent hours grinding and checking fitment, but all is well that ends well.

The pictures above are after a fair bit of grinding, but even more was needed. I used an angle grinder and followed it up with a dremel to clean things up. The entire outer ring of the oil filter sandwich had to be removed, but be careful not to cut into the inner rings. The entire lip on the oil filter housing also had to be removed. I also put some duct tape over the oil filter housing to keep debris out.

Anyway, it sealed up fine. No leaks (fingers crossed). If you plan to do this, be careful and plan to spend a few hours on something that should take 15 minutes.

I've heard of some having to do minor modifications but what the hell. Mine did not need that much work at all. Now I need to go back and figure out what I actually bought and how its different.
