Fuel filter doesn’t get replaced on these vehicles unless you’re doing the fuel pump… it’s not a normal maintenance service unless there’s a problem

20,000 and 150,000 miles thats recommended for replacing fuel filter check on your manual ..
So you're saying that the first fuel filter change is at 20k miles and then the next one is done another 130k miles later?

There is a filter but it’s not the small bottle sized one anymore. It’s a pretty big. That is also not a serviceable part. If you’re getting large debris stuck in it, then you have other issues going on with the trans since it is a closed system.

Hello guys, i have Honda civic 2012 1.8 gas, automatic transmission

I`m going to buy transmission fluid and i found in my country this one Liquid Packaging and labeling Rectangle Font Electric blue
and it costs around 24.5 $ 1 liter (total for this 4 liter pack 98$)

and on www.hondaautomotiveparts.com this one Liquid Bottle Fluid Service Tire
costs only 7.28$ even with shipping this will be at least twice cheaper then above one.

both are ATF DW-1, can you tell me if the cheaper one is good for my car?

@Fantastical_ , are you in eastern Europe?

"ATF DW-1" is the specification for the transmission fluid (measured viscosity at selected temperatures, choice of additives packaging, and so on).

If it says "ATF DW-1" and it's from Honda, it doesn't matter if it come in a 4L metal container or individual 1-quart plastic bottles. It's the same fluid. 👍

I'm in the middle of Eurasia :)
Georgia is a transcontinental country at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
Then I`ll just go for cheaper one, just got confused different pack`s and so much difference in price...
thank you
