anyone that's interested to improve your r18's performance... please subscribe this thread...

for the past year or so.... we've been trying to figure ways to improve the performance of the r18 civic & makes it more enjoyable to drive.

by no means we are trying to make r18 a 13 seconds car... thank you.

the biggest advantage for R18 over an Si is weight....

lower horsepower vehicle can make up the lack of power with light weight...

average weight difference is around 300lbs, but if you have 2012 R18 & race a 2013 & 2014 si, the weight difference is close to 400lbs

when i race my stock ilx 2.4 (3000lbs) against levin's lx coupe (2600lbs) you can see it in the video, the R18 is very quick, not fast, but quick....

i race him atleast 8 times this past summer on the track, if i don't have a perfect launch, i can't catch him... the 8 races, i only beat him 1 time.

it's like an E36 m3 trying to catch an annoying NA1 miata on the track....
