Mine works, without fail, everytime I need it. I just turn around and look where I'm backing when in reverse like I was taught in driver's ed. Now people need an expensive camera. Good luck fixing your camera. If I had one, I would want it to work too. Wish I could help you.
Rear backup camera intermittently working.

I am new to this site and thought I would introduce myself and ask help for my problem. My name is Sunny and I have a 2015 civic coupe. The problem I am having is that the backup camera only works intermittently for some reason. If it is of any importance my car is a manual transmission. I know how to access the In Line Diag menu. I currently see the following:
M-BCAN: OK (green)
DUET:OK (green)
GA-network: OK (green)
N-BCAN: (yellow)
Camera: (yellow)
Result: OK
Can anyone explain to me what these codes mean? And is this why I am havin this error??

I am having this issue. I don't care for the camera, it's the reverse lights that won't come on either. If the back up camera works, the reverse lights go on. I put it in reverse and it didn't go in. I feel like I have a bad reverse switch. How would I test that?
I ordered a reverse switch anyways. As I tore it down to replace it, I found a small mouse next sitting on top of the transmission. I'm like OK, great, I hope it didn't chew on any wires... Well it looks like the reverse pigtail is slightly cut. I'm trying to find the part number for that pigtail and Hondapartsnow is not that great for looking up pigtail wires. 28700-PHR-003. This is the switch. I need the pigtail that goes into that switch.
For now, I just took some electrical tape and taped it back up to help reduce the intermittent loss of reverse lights.
