^^ haha FFO.
I'm trying not to get caught up in the numbers. I still wont get it but I will get the flash pro when its out since no other company will make us anything. Besides fine tuning should be sweet.... oh the wait.
You wouldn't be dissapointed with the reflash in the meantime, getting rid of the rev hang was well worth $285 to me, that along with the improved throttle response, higher redline, makes it well worth the $$...I can't wait for flashpro too!! I just don't think it will be ready by the 3rd qtr this year like full-race is hoping, so the reflash is fine for now.

Not to mention... You get a discount on flashpro if you already purchased the reflash. The more people with the reflash, the better our chances flashpro will be in the pipe. I think it will be a while... More aftermarket support is needed first.

yea...thats my problem with getting the reflash too... im too busy right now between work...cpr classes... and special events its about to kill me..so i will just wait for flashpro...hopefully it will be out by christmas... if it is i guess i will be picking it up for my christmas gift to myself...lol
Does anyone have any idea what maps are changed in the reflash?
Some Hondata ReFlash info:

I asked the guy at Hondata who created the ReFlash a couple questions . . .

I asked what the air fuel ratio was set at with the ReFlash?? And what gear did they dyno in??

He replied . . . Mis to low 12's above 6000 rpm. Nothing changed below that. And dyno took place in 4th gear.

How do you guys and girls see the Air Fuel Ratio change affecting bolt on's??

If the air/fuel ratio is different than optimum with the reflash it's going to effect power. The thing that really has the possibility of changing things with the Injen cold air intake (which is what everyone is talking about) is that they possibly change the diameter/design/location of the air mass meter housing. This has the serious possibility of changing air fuel ratios.

Another thing to note that I don't think people understand is that a reflash is generic. It is not optimum for every brand of cold air intake. The Injen CAI may work best with the stock calibration while the AEM CAI may work best with the reflash (as an example). There is no such thing as a 'one size fits all' calibration. The Hondata reflash was designed to be used on a stock engine. There is absolutely no reason it will be optimized for a cold air intake.

Thanks for clarifying and further explaining this subject and I totally agree. FlashPro will be the answer to every ones problem.

Or maybe more correctly: FlashPro will be the answer to every one's problems who knows how to use it. Calibrating an engine is not something any novice can do. I've never used flash pro so I'm not sure what it entails but it looks quite powerful. I can see a lot of people screwing up a perfectly good engine because they don't know what they are doing.
