Just curious, does anyone know why they quit putting the SI emblem in the tach meter? And what year did they quit doing that. I actually thought it looked good there! Did anybody else like it

I think the 2011 had the Si in the tach...so 2012.

8th gens had it, they stopped this year ):

But not all had it before the 8th Gen either. My '00 does not have an Si emblem on the tach, it is on the instrument panel between fuel gauge and temp gauge. I know my '07 has it as stated above. I believe all 8th Gens had it. Not totally sure but I think my '89 CRX Si did have one. It has been a long time and many miles since I had a look at that one though.

I would imagine they stopped for cost reasons. They don't have to make a different overlay for the the Si now.
