Hello all!
I've been doing some research on wheel and tire fitment, and I learned a little more about how offset works. There's a set of wheels that I like by Japan Racing, but I'm unsure how good of quality this brand is. Has anyone had any experience with them?
I'm looking into getting these wheels as 18x8.5 +38, and hopefully get a pretty nice looking/flush fitment. I'd also be sticking with the 225/40/18 tire since I've read that 235 is kind pushing the limit on the available width we have.
I currently have stock suspension, but I may look into getting a set of swift spec-r springs later down the line. Though, with the stock suspension setup and no work to the fenders, would I run into any weird rubbing issues? I'm unsure what rubbing would look like.
Would be nice to get an opinion on the wheels too! They're kind of similar to the Advan TC-4s, but I'd get yelled at for spending $3K on some shoes.
