I have no issue paying to play but the price does not justify what those pieces of aluminium cost to fabricate.

Actually the parts are not very custom because the same part number is pretty much for all the cars listed & Spoon was also making them for other car brands too. This was a way for them to broaden their reach out into the automotive market besides just to Hondas.

Not true, I understand all you see is just few "washers"

What people don't see the 100's of hour spoon sports spend on r&d

Is it worth it or not, bring the rigid collar photo to your local cnc machine shop, see how much they will charge you.

I understand spoon is very reputable and make great products but for a DD it's hard to justify. Maybe when more people but them and post results I'll reconsider. It would make sense to install these when the front sway is installed.

Seems pricy for that it does

I never heard of this before but after looking around at manufacturing cut corners and the relatively modest price of ~$250 USD to add some comfort, fun and longetivity to a few other parts of your suspension and motor, it seems like a great deal. This should keep your car feeling the same as it did when new, as long as other frame and suspension parts are within their specs. I may consider these now that I know how subframe is potentially mounted sloppily to frame. Would be a quick and nice addition when adding hfp suspension kit.

Ive been on 8th civic for a while before here, I learn that civics subframe are so easily shift that we can actually use it to add few positive degree of caster to improve steering stiffness. I already got struct tower bar, sway bars, even with just 8th gen lowering springs, my Lx now handles surprisingly well. I need the chassis to be more stiff, this might help

$230 is retail price, im sure there is a way to get them cheaper

I think this is a good mod, will be well worth $250.

Hmmm. I always knew these areas were a bit sloppy. I didn't know it was to that extent though! This is not a bad idea if any of the kits fit our cars. Since the Civic was dropped from the JDM market in 2011, we'll have to rely on some north american tuning companies to confirm.
