Hi all. 2012 Civic EX, 2DR coupe, 1.8L L4 engine, 5spd manual. Over the last few weeks I have noticed a constant, stacccato squeaking noise while moving forward (Being a birdwatcher, I can describe the sound as similar to the sound a mourning dove makes when it flies, a kind of rapid "wee-wee-wee-wee-wee" sound). Fairly certain based on how the sound is modulated that it's coming from my front passenger wheel as it gets louder when I am passing objects such as parked cars to my right. It occurs regardless of speed or steering direction, but one critical element I did notice is that it goes away when even the slightest pressure is put on the brake. I'm wondering if the brakes are misaligned or have a deposit built up that may be rubbing against the wheel while driving.
