Steering getting looser, what to replace?

My 2012 (EX or DX... non-Si) Civic is approaching 100,000 miles, and it feels like its steering has started to get a little loose. I was hoping to freshen it up the usual way, by replacing the end links, but neither of the end links look awful (boots not split or anything), so I'm not sure that they actually need replacement. I'm not too familiar with Honda's EPS system, so I thought I should ask here: what usually wears out first in the steering system on the 9th gen? What should I replace to get rid of "slop"?

I think, more specifically, with the front wheels in the air, grab the top and bottom of the tire and push in and out, alternately. There should be no in and out wobble.
