If it’s clicking, it’s not the motor. You either have a stuck track or bad lifter arm.

Lifter arms are somewhat easy to replace. If the track is damaged, you’re looking at a new sunroof sans glass.

If you are hearing the clicking noise when you try to get the sunroof to open, the motor is working part 10

Since you're saying it is stuck in the up position, most likely the lifter arms part 7 and 8 are both broken.

The dealer is correct as there is no tool or "crank" that will help close it. You will have to either 1 take off the glass and then push the lifters down, or 2 try to manually close it yourself and break part 7 and 8 some more in the process.

I have a strange issue because if I let the car sit for 5+ hours, itll close again?? Very strange. Reset procedures do nothing. I dont have to touch it and it decides to just close later
