THC's 2012 TW FB6 Build Pic Heavy

Hello to all and welcome to my 2012 TW FB6 Build! I purchased my Si in mid January 2017. She had 62k on the clock when purchased and was taken care of extremely well from her previous owner. I found all the paper work from Honda in the glove box and the previous owner spared nothing when it came to the Si. Platinum paint protection, transmission etc... I'll rate the interior condition as a solid 9.5/10 and the exterior at a 9/10. Stay tuned as I will be adding pictures/dates later today. Also check my channel on the YouTube's

Ordered the parts needed for the retractable armrest conversion. At the same time I decided to pick up the ambient lighting (red) and the 12v 28/8w sockets (part number: 33303-TR0-A01) needed for the PNP UAE harness. Man I can't wait for the headlights to arrive!! Next, I will be sourcing down some rear camber arms in preparation for the coilover install. If anyone could recommend a good front camber kit, that would be awesome!

UAE headlights are on the way!! Just got released from customs, I can't wait for these to arrive.

On the crappier side of things, I'm looking for a driver side TW fender. Some pecker head gave my fender a love tap.

Started researching what it will take to replace the factory HU. I will be adding a parts list that I feel will be needed. I would love it if you guys can comment on the setup. I've been out of the stereo world for a couple of years so any input is welcomed. Stay tuned!

take your car to a reputable paintless dent repair place. they should be able to push that out no problem.

Head Unit Part List:

Universal Maestro RR (iDatalink for Gauges)

ASWC-1 (Steering Wheel Interface)

I plan to use the Maestro RR for the radio gauges only. Hopefully it can be done. As far as the HDCC-01 & ACWC-1, that should be relatively straight forward to install with the radio. I have yet to purchase anything. Please let me know if my homework is correct, and if not please tell me where I messed up. Thanks!

i think if you get the idatalink module you dont need the steering wheel interface. the idatalink module should do that.
You look like my twin :)

What bulbs are you running in your fog lights? They look to be nice and bright.

I can't confirm, so I probably get both to be safe.

Nokya H11's 55w
Did you end up doing the stereo? curious about the steering wheel interface, if it worked or not?
I get her cleaned for one day, then it's back to filth on Monday.

Quick update on my head unit adventures. So i ditched the 8200NEX in favor if the Kenwood DDX793 app radio. Figured I use my phone for all media and navigation needs, why not get an app radio? I will not be using the iDatalink as I don't want to mess with the OBD2 port.

So the new setup consist of:

Kenwood DDX793 Ordered
Axxess HDCC-01 Ordered
Axxess ASWC-1 Ordered

Need to get:
Metra 40-HD11 Antenna Ordered
OEM Bezel or Double Din kit
Ordered
Alpine HCE-C125 Back up camera>Changed to Kenwood CMOS 230
Ordered

I'm currently make a wiring diagram for the install. If it works out, I'll post it up. I'm super picky about wiring, so I really try to go the "pro" route. Stay Tuned!
