Going big turbo next year with built head and forged Pistons. Wondering if anyone has some advice, tips, direction to offfer. Thinking of picking up a GTX3071 (or 76) Gen2 with the PRL kit.

Recently blown bottom end. New k24z7 here I come lol.

Ps. Not trying to be a douche with the huge parts lists with nonsense listed. It’s mostly for me to keep track of the build.

If your wanting to stay low key, such as not attracting police or may one day have children in your car, I recommend Borg Warners EFR. IWG, has the BOV built in. These are a bit more pricey, but they spool faster and install is easier.

Yeah I’m open to Borg and HKS as well. Kids won’t be an issue though. It’s going to be a dedicated track build.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaang how's the fitment on the wheels/tires??
It’s good actually. Didn’t have to make any custom adjustments lol. Suspension is set a little low so it rubs in the rear. Gunna fix that over the winter.

So new update…

pretty sure I just blew the engine tonight so I’ll be looking for a k24z7 bottom end. All good, something fresher to put the new Pistons in. Now I can do rods, bearings, and maybe a crank if I’m feeling crazy.

I'm considering new wheels and I do like the RPF1, but I don't like the bubble design on the ones that are less than 9inches wide.

And GL with your new engine!

Thanks buddy. And yeah you can’t go wrong with rfp1s really. Super light, good design, proven performance. I’m running a 17x9.5 with a 35 offset wrapped in 255 Trofeo Pzero
