We need to have an understanding of the real "Rules of the Road". In this thread, whether they are true or not is irrelevant and not to be argued. It's just from observation and reality----real, imagined, or perceived. It's all for fun and for posting what you want. Here are some Rules of the Road:

-Never, ever, drive behind a Toyota Prius unless you want to take a nap and have all day to get where you're going.

-Turn signals exist to not be used often and drivers pay attention to turn signal lights.

-The inside lane is for people driving at a higher speed than those in the outside lane.

-People that hog the inside lane are of high intelligence and care about other people.

-Cities, counties, and states make no money from traffic tickets.

-Cops that chase 160mph crotch rockets are of high intelligence and have the best interests of everyone on the road in mind and don't want to see the "runner" get hurt or killed.

-Very small displacement engines with turbo chargers and high horsepower will last a long long time, save fuel, and will save your life from "global warming".

-GDI, engines will last a long time, will never have carbon issues and get better fuel mileage. They will save us from "global warming".

-WTF is "global warming"?

-The price we pay for fuel has nothing to do with supply and demand. It has everything to do with taxes.

-The higher fuel costs us the less we will need to drive and we will all carpool.

-Speed limits exist for other people.

-Stop signs mean stop but don't look for other cars or motorcycles coming. Especially motorcycles. It's OK to pull out in front of a motorcycle.

-All cops drive the speed limit and use turn signals.

-We should always follow the example of cops driving habits.

-Semi-tractors/trailers can and will stop on a dime if you cut one off.

-Tail-gating will get you where you want to go in much less time.

-The federal government is doing a marvelous job of repairing and expanding the roadway infra-structure. This was made possible from the tax cut.

-All those workers on the roadways are people in those "shovel ready" jobs.

-Traction control on cars, especially performance cars, works very well and will save your life some day.

-Traction control on cars, especially performance cars will kill you some day because it doesn't work (i.e. Ford Mustangs).

-The higher you jack up your pick-up truck the more of a bad ass manly macho person you are.

-The lower your Honda is the cooler you are and you won't ever drag to bottom out of it. Lowering a car makes perfect sense.

-Honda Si's are fast sports cars.

-When you turn in a pothole to your municipalities "pothole hot-line", they will be repaired quickly.

-Speed traps are there to remind you to slow down and drive safely.

I could go on and on but there are other creative minds and people with good observation skills on this forum. Chime in..... :cheerleader1:
