My car did not come with Navigation and I was thinking about buying a OEM 2012 Honda Civic navigation radio. Would I only need the security code and gps antenna or is there more to it. Thanks!
There is a lot more. The harnesses are different. The nav ones are 210, and 155 from Honda, then there is the issue of mounting the antenna, I was thinking that route but when I came across all that I passed. Going to wait for more full compatability from the aftermarket companies, then I wll get one.

Oh in that case forget it. It would take way to much money to make all that work! The nav was $850 plus who knows how much for the other stuff I'm missing and any other problem I could run into. I'm with you I'm waiting. I guess I'm stock with my ghetto nav for now. (use your phone and play it through the Bluetooth .. lol) Thanks for the info!
Thye ones they were selling were not compatable with premium sound.Ill wait for Alpine,Pioneer,Kenwood etc.. Im sure there due before I reach 1000 posts!
I bet there would be issues integrating it with IMID too....you would probably loose bluetooth steering wheel compatibility too without some aftermarket module. Might be easier to trade in the car for one with navi lol.....
