LED lighting technology is becoming more widespread. Here are the best LED headlight bulbs on the market right now and where to buy them.

As LED lighting technology becomes more widespread, more automakers are adopting the technology in recent years as costs continue to drop. That means there’s a wide assortment of options when it comes time to finding a replacement LED headlight bulb for your vehicle, from brands you likely never knew existed. If you previously owned a vehicle with halogen or high intensity discharge (HID) headlights, you’re probably familiar with brands such as Philips and Sylvania when it comes to replacement bulbs; but that won’t be the case with LED bulbs.

The brightness of an LED bulb is measured in lumens, so that’s one important factor you will want to pay attention to when picking a replacement. You will also want to compare their advertised operating life if you drive often at night. LED headlight bulbs tend to last much longer than halogen and HID bulbs, which also make them very cost effective and convenient for the vehicle owner. Most importantly, many LED headlight bulbs can be used to replace halogen headlights if you’re looking for a brighter, longer-lasting light. Many of the manufacturers include plug-and-play kits with their products, so you don’t need to do any modifications to your vehicle.

Do you own any of the top 5 LED headlight bulbs?

The link brings me to '2016 Nissan Titan Confirmed', but a simple google of the title brought me to the right spot. A good read for sure, as LED bulbs are something I've been looking in to.

Ever since I've been driving in my civic (as opposed to my ol' Dodge Caravan lol) I've noticed night time driving can be harsh as everyone behind me seems like they have their brights on in my eyes. The other night there was a F-250 behind me.. the headlights they used were actually amazing though. Even with them being directly behind me, whatever bulbs they were using didn't hurt my eyes or leave a huge flair. Was temped to follow the dude to ask but had to get to work. Gotta love night shifts haha.

The CougarMotor LED Headlight Bulbs are what I'm looking at getting In the list here though. Always appreciate the info. (Also looking at changing the dome light to LED's too, they look decent)

LED bulbs use less energy than most other types of bulbs and are, generally speaking, more efficient at producing light, meaning they generate less heat, produce less pollution and consume less gasoline than regular bulbs.
