Hi everyone,

My civic is a 2012 ex manual transmission with 140k kms. Lately I have noticed that when the car is at operating temperature the transmission tends to have a two part clunk when shifting gears. One clunk when the clutch is depressed and I am shifting and another when I am releasing my clutch. My clutch does show signs that it is starting to wear out due to shudder sometimes when releasing the clutch in 1st when starting off or when I am in heavy stop and go traffic. I am curious if anyone else is having a similar problem like this and if so what was done to fix it.

I will be replacing my clutch in a few months and I am pretty sure my input shaft seal has a small leak so I will be taking apart my transmission to replace the seal. Any tips will help.

Thanks!

I had the same issue since I got my car with 72k Kms on it.

125k kms later it's gotten worse. Just replaced my rear lower tourque mount and it seems to have solved the problem. Need to drive it more to be 100% sure.
