Has anyone tried to get video on the nav screen? The iMid is great and all for guys with no nav, but I have that nav screen that is a lot bigger and much nicer for viewing with a passenger.

I did mine differently since I had to incorporated it with the reverse as well. Gj Prime! Im glad my DIY is inspiring others to try more things as well.

Could you please post up a diagram so we can have reverse cam (to be installed in spring) and DVD player. Thanks ADExternal

@skrub The issue is I don't have a navi or I'd start modding that as well

I would think instead of adding a pin for the video signal you could splice it on the existing video wire. And splice the reverse signal wire into the 12v switch that's added.

Ummm would this be compatible with the 2013? Just saying it comes with a back up camera but that's in the nsvi screen.

Wouldn't splicing the switched 12v with the reverse signal wire cause your reverse lights to come on every time you hit the switch for the video player?

Mounted the switch and an RCA jack right to the AUX panel.

What about reading a video file from a USB key to the i-mid or nav?

To take it one step farther, I even managed to put in a Raspberry Pi with an SNES emulator. Adding video to the i-Mid is probably one of the cheapest, easiest, and coolest mods you can do for the Civic.
