We have a hacker here! This is just amazing
Update: I don't log on very often so sorry for the delayed response. I hooked this up for my friends wifes car that has a buckup camera but no navigation. It's a million times easier. All I did was spliced the dvd video wire onto the signal wire from the camera to the i-Mid. You don't have to add pins because they are already there. Then I still ran the toggle switch to a separate 12v source so I can switch the screen on for the player. The only issue is the toggle switch has to be off when you back up. If it's still on and you go into reverse both images try to go onto the screen at the same time and you are unable to see anything really. Hope this helps.Bump,
I'd still like to see how this can be done on a 2013 non-Navi Civic while still retaining backup camera functionality.
Maybe something like in this thread: http://m.fitfreak.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1260139#post1260139 might work?Very interesting...
Can anyone confirm can be done on 14 Si
no audio Jax input on 14
any advice how to connect to audio out in to system.
Instead of a straight splice onto that wire, you need to build an active switch.Hey i got an 2013 Si with the navigation panel, and i have try to put my old playstation 2 instead of my backup camera, i have almost done it, but i got 2 problem, the first one is the guide line from the backup camera, its not a big deal, and im sure it come from the deck itself so there no way to remove it. Still looking good tho.
and my second problem is that i can't find a way to bypass the signal for the backup camera, ive found the wire, its the brown one but even if i send him a external current the image won't show up... anybody got an idea?

Not sure if this is the right place for this... But I'd also like to knowHow can I get an aftermarket Sirius receiver to play in my 15 Si head unit? I have an audio out on the receiver but audio in on the head unit. Help?

There was an identical question asked here within a few minutes of this post.Is it possible to move the oem backup camera display to iMid instead of the oem display audio for 2015 civic si?.
I just finished wiring in a DVD player to play through the factory i-MID screen and thought I would share.
