This electrical device is under the steering to the right of the obdII of my ‘12 si.
is this an aftermarket alarm system?

Doesn't look that tough to remove. The Tee taps are simple. Just pull them out. If it has a ignition defeat, which it looks like it does, find the factory wire. It should be easy to ID the after market alarm wires vs the factory Honda wires. Once you remove them connect the cut ignition wire back together, properly insulated of course. I prefer solder and heat shrink but a butt connecter and crimpers would do.
If not in your wheel house, check in at a local car stereo shop. They could take it out for you for no too much I would think, Especially if you have the dash panel off and easily accessible. Best of luck.
