Difficult airbag code 11-10. Dealer can't figure it out

Hi guys, I have a 2012 coupe EX with code 11-10 open in the driver's airbag first inflator. The car has been to 2 separate Honda dealers a total of 6 times so I'm trying to troubleshoot it myself since they keep throwing expensive parts at it.

Anyways, the clock spring has been replaced twice and I used airbag simulating resistors to confirm the light still comes on - so I'm assuming the airbag is fine. I'm kind of at a loss at what it could be. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Edit: car hasn't been in an accident nor have the airbags deployed

With no other electrical problems noted above...

There are 4 "parts" involved with the driver (steering wheel) airbag.
1: the airbag mounted to the steering wheel.
2: the cable reel (or clock spring)
3: the dash wire harness
4: the SRS unit.
Assuming poor connections, the airbag or the cable reel is not the problem.
That leaves the SRS unit or the dash wire harness.

And as always with any electrical problem: make sure the battery is good and fully charged.

Yes.
The airbag connector shorts the two pairs of wires (airbag side) when disconnected. This makes the airbag safe to handle in case of static electricity, etc.
The cable reel connector that connects to the dash harness (cable reel side) also shorts the two pair of airbag wires.
Same at the SRS control unit connector.

I was trying to figure out of my wiring harness has any breaks in continuity in it between the coil spring plug and the srs module plug but of course the contacts were shorted. I saw continuity on both sides between coil spring and SRS module. How would I be able to test each of the 4 cables individually? I bought a sacrificial coil spring so I can un short the connector, but how about the SRS module plug? Thanks

Honda uses special test harnesses and a 2ohm load box. I am unaware of any physical way to unshort the connectors without the special harness.
Attached is the trouble shooting for 11-10.

I have a similar problem, same code error.

Only that for me it seems to happen after I drive few minutes (sometime I might drive 30 mins before the light gets on, sometime 2 minutes).

I might be biased but I think that usually happens with left turns (although I didn't really keep track and I think it happens going straight as well).

Any idea what could bee? I guess the clock spring is the most probable problem.
