I’m sure this has been asked before and honestly I never planned to do anything different than Hondata BUT I’m 1 1/2 yrs into this car and money is still tight as ever so I’m starting to think about things more in depth and if I can save like $2-250 by getting Ktuner than heck just to get ‘tuned’ quicker I’m not as opposed to that thought as I once was… I ran Hondata for years with my fully built ITR Integra and it was magnificent so i sort of want to stay with what I know works and I know cheaper is rarely better - any thoughts on this? Like what are the top 2-3 differences or pros/cons?

Ask your tuner what they prefer to tune on. Go with that.

He doesn’t mind either way.. said he’s done close to an equal amount of both…
Call me crazy but I’d like to weigh out the options and make the decision for myself anyways I mean it is my car.

I guess no one knows lol - Probably because most folks on here just follow the leader and get what everyone else gets which is Hondata - can’t blame them, solid platform and like I said I wouldn’t even be thinking twice if it weren’t for co$t

From what I’ve seen people don’t like ktuner on 9th gen and lower. The 10th gen is a better platform for them.

Idk why but that’s what I see across the board

That would depend on your build. The main drawback of Ktuners is the lack of boost cut, which will cut fuel and spark if your turbo overboosts past the set boost cut value (safety feature so you won't grenade your engine from a spike in boost). This doesn't really apply if you are N/A and don't plan on boosting your car in the future.

Aside from that, everything else is pretty much the same and will boil down to what your tuner prefers (both will be able to fully tune your vehicle). The majority of our 9th gen customers run Flashpros, however a benefit of the Ktuner is the lower cost, AND a built in display on the device itself (Ktuner V2).

We sell both, and we're offering 10% cashback in reward points on our site right now if you need one! :)
THANK YOU - solid answer, that clears it up!
You’ve really got me thinking now I may actually go Ktuner if the price diff is still significant. Im not boosting this car, very mild N/A mods, honestly I mainly just want a tune lol, most bang for your buck power wise.
Im not ready to purchase yet but will DEFINITELY give you a shout when I’m ready and hopefully you’ll still have some deals!!

Now that I have taken into consideration and when I’m ready here in another 6-8 months I will probably look for a deal that way
