I might have previously posted this in the wrong sections before, i apologise to the mods

Anyway, just leaving my impressions of the IMT J37 TB adapter to CTE Manifold with a PRL Coldish Air Intake

IMT Adapter:

Excellent quality, DID NOT require boring of the manifold to fit, direct bolt on, fit was perfect, no gaps or any modifications needed to use

PRL Intake:

Big shout out to PRL for working with me on getting this set up, i saw this option on this fourm a while back, and it appealed to me because out here in Hawaii, it rains a bit to much for me to be 100% comfortable running a true CAI, so i opted for the "Modified" Cold air intake option, not sure who it was, but props to them! def helped me out

only Problem i ran in to is that now the MAF senor is a bit out of reach, i had to release the sensor clip from the plastic housing it was in to get it to reach MAF's new location, and now im looking in to a MAF Sensor extensions

Any leads on tracking one down would be greatly appreciated

Engine bay looks awesome, man!

Quick question. Did you have any idle issues with the MDX TB? I bought one and installed it and had idle hunting issues. I returned it to PRL and they sent me a replacement. I've yet to try it out.

Also, have you had any issues with your CTE kit? I just ordered one a couple days ago, and was alarmed to find out that boosted180sx has a botched CTE intake manifold. Literally cracking in several places. See here: http://www.9thgencivic.com/forum/fo...d-induction-nitrous/36225-official-q-ct-e-supercharger-kit-157.html#post3279850

Acura throttle bodies as a rule have idle hunting issues when you first install them. There is an adjustment procedure you have to run through to get it where u want it and stable. Find your solution here:

Unfortunately, I did that relearn process several times over a 2 week period, and never could figure it out.

Other members have said they installed the TB and it fired up perfectly on the first try.

Just to be clear, you already unplugged the harness, set idle to 1400 using the allen screw, then turned off the car and plugged the harness back in?
You have a Flashpro tune?

Yessir! Used an allen wrench to set the idle screw. I did everything exactly as suggested. The idle would hunt while the car was moving and then stop when the car was sitting in neutral. I drove it for 30-40 miles like that, and it never stopped hunting.

And yes, I'm vittuned. I tried reflashing after installing the TB, and it didn't make a difference.

Thanks Man! Haha, its been 2 years in the making

I actually did not have any problems at all, my local tuner was able to upload a decent base map to get my car to his shop, then came the full tune, no idle issues at all

Really! holy damn! i hope he was able to get a new one! thats crazy!

i actually had a small imperfection, but it was not anything that a small amount of JB Weld couldn't fix ( getto, but effective lol)
