Did you have to drill new holes in the trunk to mount it?

 

looks good man!! How is the fitment and quality on this spoiler? I have been wanting to buy it for some time for my 12 si but have not been able to really get any feedback from someone who has it.

 

Do they fit over the old holes?
direct fitment ?

 

Quality is pretty good. Some sanding on the edges would be nice but not needed and it's ABS plastic so it's light and the middle shakes at high speeds. But fitment is perfect. It does fit over the old holes but because we have a brake light and it doesn't I did have to plug that hole up with a little black plug but you can barely see it because the deck lid piece covers most of it

Real Mugen parts are either fiberglas or carbon fiber and they fit properly. If this was sold as anything other than a Mugen TYPE spoiler, it was a copyright and trademark violation. There is only one authorized Mugen distributor in North America and that's King Motorsports.

 

Why can't we get the REAL mugen spoiler??

 

I had to do some drilling on my 12. But my friend just bought a 13 and it looks like it would fit directly on. I was jealous lol

Did the spoiler come painted? Or did you have to have it painted to match?

It didn't come painted. I had to take it to a shop which kinda sucks
