Unless its at night theres no way someone can mistake it for black. Nice dark, rich, brown tone.

Depending on the angle, clouds, etc., it looks totally different. We bought ours on a cloudy day, and my wife wanted a black one, but kept walking up to the Kona's on accident. That's why we went with this color. It was funny because she doesn't like brown, but now she loves it!

As someone said earlier, it's not a cruddy 70's brown, but a richer more current 'coffee' color. I like that it's unique and not on every commuter car.

Your car looks very nice Heffy. I especially love the tints. I purchased my KCM Honda Civic 3 weeks ago and I'm considering tinting my car. If you don't mind sharing, what window tint % do you have?

While I don't think I would buy a KCM Civic, I do admire the color quite a bit. it's very classy looking ans has a certain depth to the paint that no other Civic color does. Nice rides, everyone!
