New guy here! 2012 civic Si. This is my first civic. Purchased it a few months back. Car is completely stock, minus fog lights and wheels. 193k miles. Absolutely love it.

Currently working on general clean up ( new window seals, pillar trim plastic ect). I have a little rust spot that needs addressed.

Ultimately, I plan to lower it 1-1.5. Potentially some different wheels. Address the paint situation, and enjoy it. Just make a nice clean fun driver out of it.

Welcome bro! Car looks pretty clean - the sides are very fresh, are the top surfaces fading?.. hard to tell in the photo but top looks a bit dusty/dirty, is that paint?
Those wheels are actually kind of cool, what are they off of a CR-V or something?.. but yea I agree drop it first then make a decision on the wheels.. 1-1.5” drop I’ve got the PERFECT springs for you 😝 Eibach ProKit is exactly what you need, that’s what I run (I wish I went a bit lower tbh) but yea I think it’s 1.25” front & 1.5” rear maybe slightly stiffer but overall feel almost like stock! You can also use your stock struts for those - if they’re in good condition that is…
I think all Si’s come with fog lights if I’m not mistaken (unless you meant that they’re LED bulbs then makes sense)
Good on you for jumping right in, start with the maintenance then get to the mods OR a little of column A and a little of column B which is what I do

The paint looks far better in photos, than in person. The roof, hood and trunk have all been resprayed at some point. The clear is toast above the A,B,C, pillars. Wheels are off an accord, the best I can tell. They were on the car when I purchased it. The OEM fog lights were pretty well tore up, so I replaced those. As for suspension, currently thinking BC racing coilovers but have not fully committed to that yet. Heres a non edited photo. You can see the paint issue a bit better. Overall its a solid driver.

So weird because the paint looks better to me in that second photo than the first one 😆!
My clear is also almost all the way gone on the pillars on my coupe as well, and my trunk is almost flat I don’t think I can save that BUT I will say I did a full PC a little over a year ago and brought the pillars almost all the way back to life (lasted about 6 months) so what I’m saying is with the right cut&compound you may be able to save some parts of the paint, just takes time to cut-compound-polish.. with your car being black it may be better to just wrap it…
And yea BC coils would be a great mod, I was just trying to save you some money since you didn’t want to drop it that low, I know there’s other benefits of having coilovers over springs but in my opinion if your only dropping like an inch then coils are a waste of money - again just my opinion
