My car was advertised as having a K24A2 instead of the stock K24Z7. I don’t know anything outside of Dodge V8s, I looked at the engine block, where the number is supposed to be, it’s blank. The white tape that usually has a number on it is also blank. I will say I’ve tried to redline it, it did go a ways past 7k before hitting hard rev limiter.

Seriously, have you registered it? I assume that it has a VID, found on the driver's side top of the dashboard. Sounds like this car may have had a heart transplant.

It is registered as of yesterday. Everything went through the DMV perfectly fine. So I’m not sure what to do next.
I know you already figured it out, but in case someone else has a swap.
On the k24a2, and most k24's pre 2012, have the crank pos sensor located at the bottom of the timing chain cover. On the k24z7's, or rather the R40 castings, have it on the back of the block right near the transmission.
