Yeah I was looking for a 235/40 but the tires I were looking at didn't come in that size for 17" and I'm not sure if 245/40 would fit or rub if I go a little lower.
235 isn't the most common width many manufacturers don't offer anything in that width or offer limited sizes. I'm running a 235 tire on a 8 inch wide wheel on my wife's car fitment is spot on.

Hey guys I live in a small province so wheels don’t come up often there is a set of 17x9 Rota grids that came up for a decent price what all would I need. I would like 235-245 wide 40 side wall I’ll be going full coil over but not looking to stance out just close the gap a smidge

I think those come in a +42 offset? If so, 235/40 will fit easy. Minor roll or push the tabs in. Shoot depending how low you go you might not even need to touch the fenders ( I would still ) Little camber in the rear ( get camber arms ) /the end

After reading this thread for a couple of hours I think Im gonna pull the trigger on the 17x9 +40 Konig Hypergrams and run a 245/45. Ive already ordered the H&R springs so everything should fit pretty well. It seems like Subaru's and Hondas are very similar when it comes to fitting wheels and tires. I ran these same wheels on my 2000 2.5RS only I went with the 17x8 and 225/45s. They handled great at the Tail of the Dragon and other mountain roads.

I know no one uses forums anymore but I thought I should post for the record lol

I got those Hypergrams I said I was gonna get

17x9 +40
255/40/17 RT660

These Falkens run 15mm wider than my Hankook V12s and were rubbing slightly on the coilover. I got some 3mm spacers which should in theory help

Looks good. Curious to see how they look.

I ended up switching my wheel order to Bronze Hypergrams with same specs as yours but running 245/40 tires (DWS06+).

All these backorders though are frustrating. First the 57DRs that I ordered back in 04/2021 with an ETA 02/2022 was going to be pushed back another 7-8 months (so I canceled those), now my Hypergrams are backordered too, but it looks like they should ship within the next few weeks.

Konig told me first week of March for the bronze

So a 3mm spacer was not enough so I went with a 5mm. The fronts still need more camber cause its rubbing on big dips and Ive heard that running 2 front camber bolts yields more camber adjustment???
