I can't test that. But there are no warnings on the dash. That being said, the safest option is always the stock seat. I plan on using the bucket seat while on the track, and swapping back to stock when not on the track.

Thanks for this guide, i just installed my Sparco r100 seat and soldered the air bag canceller instead of getting an extra plug, but forgot to get the position sensor out of the stock seat. I still get an airbag warning so it may be because of the position sensor being undone.

So now you have non functional airbags?

Never understood why somebody would put a racing seat in a economy car disabling airbags a feature that saves lives.
