Finally you can dress up your Honda Civic with built-in DRL headlights!
Such options were only available for premium sedans from Audi, BMW, Mercedes etc, but thanks to Spyder – such headlights are available for your model!
You can read more about this brand on our website: http://www.carid.com/spyder/
Check out what would it cost you to get these lights and see other details here: Honda Civic Aftermarket Headlights at CARiD.com

DRL light bars look fantastic and visible even in daylight.

- Bright Halo and DRL lights will make your vehicle more conspicuous.
- Sharper, more focused beam increases driving safety.
- Thoroughly tested to ensure operation and completely sealed to prevent moisture from being trapped inside.
- Meets ISO 9000 and 9002 quality standards. Approved by the SAE. Meets DOT regulations and compliant with FMVSS 108.
- Direct replacement with your stock lights.

Fits 2012, 2013 and 2014 models!

We have them in few color options:

Spyder® - Black Projector Headlights with LEDs

Spyder® - Smoke Projector Headlights with LEDs

Spyder® - Chrome Projector Headlights with LEDs

What do you think: which color option would be the best for Honda Civic and why?

I think color preference depends on the color of the customer's car.

The smoked ones should come with a disclaimer that they will probably be illegal in all states for on-road use (where the majority of us drive our Civics) because of the smoked lenses. But DWils, what if they put HIDs in there, wouldn't that increase the light output through the smoked lenses? Yes, but still illegal.

Do the assemblies come in two different sizes? Unless I'm mistaken the 2012-2013 is different than the 2014.

Yes. Still illegal. In VA and all other States. See: http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+46.2-1002 for Virginia. All other States as well because it violates Paragraph 7 of section 571.108 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49, which outlines the federal requirements for headlights on motor vehicles. The code requires that headlights on motor vehicles fall within a certain area of brightness. Any material or equipment that changes the brightness or color of headlights is prohibited. In this case the smoked tint would change the color of the headlights which makes it illegal. HID kits are also unlawful per Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS)108, yet so many vehicles have them that it makes the halogen-to-HID conversion a moot point.

The black ones look wicked good. Just sayin'.

Yeah.. I like the black ones too. The website does not mention if the DRL LEDs are the only lights that come on during the day. OEM DRLs are high beams with a lower voltage, right?

We need a few guinea pigs to try them out and post pictures. I really like the DRL on the Accord.

Anyone know why honda wouldn't use the fog lights for DRL on models that have them? Too low to the ground? Your high beam bulbs would last longer and it seems to me fog lights are much easier to replace and don't get much use otherwise. Plus the many people who want to drive around with their fog lights on during the day would be happier.

Honda Civic 2012-2014, Smoke Projector Headlights with LEDs by Spyder®, with Sylvania or Osram Lighting, 1 Pair. Includes H1 High Beam and H1 Low Beam Bulbs. Improve your vision and your vehicle’s appearance with these bolt-on headlight assemblies. The projector beam headlights will produce a sharper, more focused beam of light for safer driving at night, the bright LED lights will make your vehicle more visible to other drivers, and the LEDs and custom headlight housing will give your ride an exclusive, unique look. Meets all federal regulations for street use.

Is this true? For smoked headlights? Will CARID pay my ticket if I get one for having smoked headlights? I really like the smoked ones...

What you think DWils? Im going to say they are illegal. If so, they should change the description on their site.

View attachment 229481 View attachment 229489 Here's the output of the lights, haven't installed HID's yet but going to soon.
as for night shots, the led bar is so bright my camera can't catch it :\ but I have to say it looks pretty amazing at night
I was planning on getting these soon but I wanted to save up for the full hid's and led fogs from TRS. They real nice and I can't wait. 2 more weeks and I should have the finances squared away for everything. I bet with the hids in it'll look real nice. Cutoff do look bad either.

I was considering buying these since they look really nice... but life kinda threw me a curve ball. My deck is falling apart and needs replacement, my washer seems to be dying a slow death, my fridge may not last til next year, and I have to replace my furnace oil tank before the fall. I'm going to have to enjoy my car as-is for a while yet.

On the plus side, I'm selling my old 05 Coupe and that should pay for the tank, fridge, and washer. Just need to come up with a few grand for the deck.
