Debadged my si!!

so i finnaly debugged my si, all i did was remove the dealership plate cover, and the civic badge! looks so much better!!!i took a bit once i was done it was dark out sorry for the bad quality pic! haha

All i used was fishing line and a blow dryer for the civic badge, it was a little tough cuz it was freezing outside lol..

 

Definitely remove the SI badges and stickers. Stealth is cool.

 

While stealth is cool, any Civic enthusiast would be able to determine what trim level a Civic is even without the badges. The only way you could throw someone off is if you change the rims, change the rear lip spoiler, or change the bumpers.

This is how to tell without popping the hood or looking inside:

DX & LX - Steel wheels with hub caps + lip spoiler doesn't have integrated 3rd brake light + no moonroof. DX has matte black side mirrors.
EX & EX-L - Alloy rims + lip spoiler has integrated 3rd brake light. EX-L always has moonroof / EX is standard, but might be optional.
Si - Rear lip spoiler has slits in it + Rear bumper is a dead giveaway.

There will always be exceptions, but these are the basics.

i would never debadge my baby just my .02 i payed for them si badges i want it to look like a si and more its all prefence tho

 

I already debadged the civic symbol and plasti-dipped the emblems including the drivers wheel one, looks good. If youre going to plasti dip be really patient! My first time on my back honda emblem was peeling because i layered the coats bad.

 

I like to think the Si badge tells other drivers not to pull up close behind me at a stop on a hill... but I've been proven wrong multiple times. If anything, I've noticed some cars like to tail me. Those drivers must be part bull.

 

I believe that lol do does anyone know where I can buy blue honda badges???

I dont believe the EX and EX-L have the integrated 3rd brake light. I think that's Si trim only. At least my EX doesnt have a 3rd brake light in the spoiler.

 

I'm sorry, I gave the loadout for the Coupe versions.

 

I debadged the "civic" from the back of my Si and plasti dipped the front and back "H" symbols. The Chrome look bothers the hell out of me. Made my car look much better. Just my 2 cents.

yea it's on there with double sided tape, you can just pull it off. works better if you get a hair dryer and heat up the area to make the adhesive melt a bit though
